Project ACES, an acronym for All Children Exercise Simultaneously. Usually refers to "Project ACES DAY," an annual event which occurs on the first Wednesday in May at 10AM local time. Part of National Physical Fitness and Sports Month and National Physical Education Week. Often called "the world's largest exercise class," it brings millions of children, parents and teachers together from all over the world to exercise simultaneously in a symbolic gesture of fitness and unity. It underscores the need for quality Physical Education in our nation’s schools. Think the “Earth Day” of Fitness meets the Exercising “Hands Across America”. Started in 1989 by brothers Len and H.J.
