HISTORY

Like her sisters, the Pride of Canterbury and European Seaway, the Pride of Kent (colloquially known as the 'Kent') was built as the European Highway in 1991, serving Zeebrugge before operating to Calais. Like her sister, she was converted in 2002/3 before re-entering service as the Pride of Kent II (replacing her 'cousin').


ONBOARD

It has five decks (2 car only deck and 3 passenger decks). The ship is both divided vertically (as decks) and horizontally, into 5 zone which are assigned the colours red, yellow, orange, green and blue. On board there are several lounges, a self-service food court, a café, a restaurant, a tax free shop and a bar. There are also open decks on levels 7 and 9. The car decks are on levels 3 and 5 and are divided into port and starboard.
