Preston Brook has a small Industrial Park located within it, used by the mobile telephone company O2 and Wincanton Logistics amongst others. The Parish of Preston Brook has about 300 dwellings, 700 residents and has about 3000 people working there. The Bridgewater Canal runs through Preston Brook, between the Trent and Mersey Canal and a fork, with one arm going towards Runcorn and the other towards Manchester.
