Polynesian Airlines is the national Airline of Samoa and is based in Apia , the Samoan capital city. It has been announced that from October 2005 , Polynesian Airlines will become a domestic airline, and the international routes and jet aircraft will be taken over by a new airline Polynesian Blue , owned 49% by the Samoan Government, 49% by Virgin Blue and 2% by other Samoan interests. CODE DATA SERVICES It flies to eight international destinations: Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand , Brisbane , Melbourne and Sydney in Australia , Nadi in Fiji , Pago Pago in American Samoa , Honolulu and Los Angeles in the United States on a code share basis with Air New Zealand .
