Jon Fast was added in 1999, and line-up changes meant that final members of the troupe were Jon Fast, Melinda Whitehouse, Sean Kelly and Dave Chambers.

The Bronx wrote nearly all their material as a group and relied heavily on props and costumes bought in the SF Mission districts many thrift shops.

Sketches included "Dr Mapenstien", "Spanish Explorer Ass Party", "The Shirt", "Huck and Jim's Racial Insult Wake-Up Call", "Hands", "" "SoccerMoms throughout history", "Emergency Amateur Psychologist" and many others.

The Bronx performed at a variety of venues in San Francisco including The SF Sketch Comedy Fest, Venue 9, Pop-Corn Anti-theater, The Odeon, The Marsh's Mock Cafe, Galleria Luscombe and Spanganga. They also performed in Seattle at On The Boards and in the Seattle Fringe fest in 1999 & 2000, at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater, Collective Unconscious and Surf Reality in New York and Gallery 706 in Los Angeles .

In 1999 at the Marsh's mock cafe the group shared a stage with Robin Williams and was mentioned favorably by the comic afterward in interviews.

The group disbanded in 2001 over creative differences. Whitehouse formed "Too Good 4 U", an "all girl Boy Band ", with her sister, Karen Whitehouse and two others, Chambers and Fast formed "The 6 Million Dollar Band", a television Theme Song Cover Band . Kelly concentrated on the management of his comedy venue "Spanganga". Chambers, Whitehouse and Comedian later formed "The Bitter Show". Fast and Kelly formed another sketch group, "The Hot Bubbles".

Trivia: The group's name is derived from ''Fuga dal Bronx'' ('' Escape From The Bronx ''), a low budget Italian Sci-fi /action movie with Henry Silva . The movie was also lampooned on Mystery Science Theater 3000 . The name beat out "Behind the Rabbit" and "Something on a Schtick" in a telephone focus group of sex workers.
