Plato, Missouri is an unincorporated community in northwestern Texas County, Missouri . It is located about twenty miles northwest of Houston and ten miles south of Fort Leonard Wood on Missouri State Highway 32 . The community was founded in 1874 and is named after the ancient Greek philosopher Plato . |
