Pigs Have Wings

Parsloe has got hold of a pig capable of scoffing as many calories as the Empress Of Blandings . Since Gregory parsloe himself has a physique similiar to the Pride of Machingham (the new pig that he's got), he gets a medicine called "slimmo" - the magical drug that allows you to stuff yourself to bursting point and lose weight. All is well at Blandings castle until the Hon. Galahad Threepwood realises that Parsloe is a man who and will resort to even the dirtiest of stratagems to win the fat pigs contest. He sees that this is the reason that Parsloe has got hold of slimmo - so that he can sneak it into the empress's food tray!

There are many visitors at Blandings Castle (as usual) and as the poet Shelly would say, If visitors come, can imbroglios be far behind? As ususal there is a lot of problems (like there always are) and Gally is kept very busy.

PG Wodehouse, undoubtedly is the funniest writer ever to put words on paper and this novel is recommended strongly to those who want to catch a glimpse of the Wodehouse wit.
