Information AboutPenny Tribute |
When young Penny is given as a tribute to the local lady of the land, the young woman repeals the tax and has poor Penny put to work. It's up to Penny to thrive in this sordid new life of hers, as she has hardly a chance to ever see her friends or family again. However, Penny is capable of finding the good in any situation, and instead of moping, crying or begging for her freedom, she finds the goodness in her newfound housemates. It is now up to Penny to cope with her new duties, and her newfound prison without locks. Perhaps Penny could resist, or she could simply try to escape? None are certain of the next events, save for Daniel Kim , the owner of Clone Manga and author of ''Penny Tribute''. SUMMARY This is one of the more upbeat, and yet sane webcomics by Clone Manga , featuring a young Gothic Lolita by the name of Penny. Coming across interesting and even bizzare "friends," Penny is never truly alone, whether cleaning the castle or when sleeping at night. She tends to like to help and speak with everyone, as she has no prejudice, helping a strange creature avoid detection by the curator. Penny's greatest asset is her ability to remain happy in the greatest of darknesses. She merely smiles and bears it, not because she is a fool, but because she understands the way of life. It makes it easiest on everyone else if she accepts her fate, rather than if she were to resist her fate or bother her masters. Penny is courageous, however, and does not simply sit idly. Penny's greatest inanimate comfort so far has come in the form of her blanket. Wearing it like a hooded cloak at first, she of course uses it like a typical blanket would be used. The blanket's comfort helps her to forget her troubles, however, which allows her to continue on as the maid of the castle, rather than causing her to become a nuisance or a problem. CHARACTERS
