Along with other stations on the Bukit Panjang Light Rail line, this station was so-named because of its close proximity to either a key installation, small road leading to a neighborhood, or locality. In this case, the station is near ''Pending Road''. VICINITY Pending station serves the residents of HDB flats (Apartments) located in the southern part of Bukit Panjang Town. The station is convienently situated right next to '' Bukit Panjang Community Centre '' as well as the ''Bukit Panjang South Neighborhood Police Post ''; where the former caters to the recreational and well-being needs of residents living near-by, and the latter for the safety of the residents. |
