Paintball-Net was a graphical MUD that simulated real-life Paintball . The game began in 1996; its graphical theme was updated approximately two years later ( 1998 ). The MUD included six or seven songs for its participants' listening enjoyment during play. Much to the dismay of its users, the owner of Paintball-Net closed the service in September 2000 to concentrate on another online game, Artifact . Though its location is unknown, a log of the chatroom's last moments allegedly exists. A new 3D version is currently in the making. External links
