The Order of Mata Nui is an organization from LEGO 's Bionicle storyline.

The Order of Mata Nui is a counterpart group to the Brotherhood Of Makuta , and may also serve as one to the Dark Hunters . The Order serves to carry out Mata Nui 's wishes. Thus far, this includes planting false evidence that the Toa Metru were not supposed to be Toa Metru. Unlike the other two organizations, the Order is content with the Toa Nuva possessing the Vahi Mask of Time. The Order works secretly, and only the Brotherhood of Makuta and Vakama know of its existence (though Vakama knows very little--he doesn't even know the name of the Order).


MEMBERS

  • Mata Nui : Not a member, but the Order of Mata Nui serves him.


  • ''' since the Great Cataclysm ; they do not know that Mata Nui has been put to sleep. Their mission was to protect the Ignika Mask of Life from evil beings who would misuse it. However, Brutaka has turned his back on the Order because he believes that Mata Nui has abandoned his people (but he has not yet officially quit the Order). Axonn remains faithful to Mata Nui, and still secretly guards the island's Matoran . (Axonn and Brutaka's memberships are confirmed here , 15th post down).

  • In addition, an unknown member revealed the Order's existence to the plant creature known as Karzahni , sometime while Metru Nui was under control of the Visorak . It is implied that Karzahni killed this Order member - he said the member "told me the whole story ... before he died." Karzahni later passed this information on to Toa Vakama .
