(Ѡ, ѡ) is a letter of the
Early Cyrillic Alphabet , descended from the
Greek Omega (Ω, ω). These early letters were called Archaic letters. Omega was the last letter of the Greek alphabet and was shaped like an upside-down horseshoe.
