Oklahoma State Highway 156, also known as '''OK-156''' or '''SH-156''', is a highway maintained by the U.S. state of Oklahoma . Spanning 17 miles (27 km) through the north-central part of the state, it connects the town of Marland, Oklahoma to U.S. 77 / U.S. 177 in the north to U.S. 77 in the west. It is the former alignment of U.S. 77. Starting at U.S. 77, the highway goes east for eight miles (13 km) until reaching Marland, where it turns northward. 9 miles (14 km) later, after crossing from Noble County into Kay County , it ends at U.S. 77/177 four miles (4 km) east of Ponca City .
