Norwegian Dawn

Superstar Scorpio , and sister ship SuperStar Libra , were ordered from Meyer-Werft , Papenburg (Germany), to be delivered in 2001 and 2002 to Star Cruises ''( NCL's parent company)''. Six months before delivery, it was decided that SuperStar Libra, would be transferred to the NCL fleet, rather than move SuperStar Leo as the Norwegian Leo as was originally planned.
