As in the Canadian Football League , the league would have played with only three downs to advance the ball ten yards in order to retain possession, as compared to the four-down American Football game. The championship game was scheduled to be played in June. The 14 teams that were to compete in this league were: East Division
West Division
In February 2005, it was announced that the league would be on hiatus until 2006. It seems doubtful if it will ever be truly realized, at least by the current ownership. |
