BOUNDARIES

Confusingly Newcastle-upon-Tyne Central does not include Newcastle's commercial city centre (which is in the Tyne Bridge constituency). Instead it consists a number of fairly prosperous communities surrounding Newcastle's Town Moor and houses a substantial student population. The seat includes Gosforth , Jesmond , Fenham , Kenton and much of the universities of Newcastle and Northumbria .
