The eastern terminus of Route 116 is at the junction with US-2 (the Presidential Highway) in Jefferson. The highway winds southwest through the towns of Littleton , Bethlehem and Whitefield . Major intersections include I-93 and US-3 . The western terminus is in North Haverhill at the junction with NH-10 , which runs north and south along the Connecticut River.
