Negrodamus is a fictional Prophet / Seer character, played by Paul Mooney , who appears on Comedy Central 's Chappelle's Show . His name is a Portmanteau of the archaic racial term Negro and the famous "prophet" Nostradamus . His predictions are often absurd send-ups of common African-American Stereotypes . For example, he stated that Arsenio Hall would make a career comeback with 'Good Morning, Black America', a show airing at noon. Another famous quote was "White people love Wayne Brady because he makes Bryant Gumbel look like Malcolm X ." Also, he has stated that " Arnold Schwarzenegger will divorce Maria Shriver , and marry Shirley Temple Black . And she will be known as Shirley Temple Black-Negger."
