In 1993 the organization founded the National Aboriginal Achievement Awards to acknowledge excellence in the Aboriginal community. Past recipients of National Aboriginal Achievement Awards include Tom Jackson , Phil Fontaine , Lillian Dyck and Bryan Trottier . The awards ceremony is broadcast annually on the CBC television network. The current chief executive officer of the foundation is Roberta Jamieson . |
