Information About

Nation Service Society

The Nation Service Society was a state-run Trade Union organized in 1940 by the Japan ese government. It was on the pattern of the contemporary " German Labour Front " state syndicate.

During the premiership of Fumimaro Konoye , radical
militarists and civilian political servants, in line with the
creation of Right-socialists and militarists " Shogunate "
government, ordered the dissolution of all Democratic and Populist
organizations and parties, such as the '' Minseito '' and trades unions of the
Japanese Workers Federation under Komachiki Matsuoka .

The Japanese establishment, decided to organize the
"Nation Service Society" or "Society by Service at Nation for Industry"
who started a "simple" trade union with government aid. Later
this group was directly managed by the government.

The members
of an official syndicate received some "rights" to participate in
government meetings and public demonstrations under slogans such as:
  • "Expansion of industries"

  • "Workers at service of country"

  • "Propagation of Japanese spirit", etc.

The differences between Capital and Work
were reduced when Workers were inspired in sacrifice spirit by
the Throne. At the same time the establishment created another law, to guide industrial policies to armaments and munition
manufacture. This organization
later converted into another ideological wing to supporting the regime during the
Pacific War period.

Government action to dissolve all democratic organisations opposed to
official policies was acclaimed by Capitalists Clans as a great
step ahead. As a result there was a return to the ancient Feudal relation
between Sirs and Subdits as industrialist and worker.

This was part of Fumimaro Konoye 's "Revolution" thinking
with the object of preparing the way to a Japan ese Totalitarian State ,
( Military Shogunate ), with its base in Feudal relations.

In wartime all members of organizations were called to train and take up weapons for the Defence of the nation, in Tonarigumi and Imperial Youth Corps Nationalists groups.
