Although developed in Japan by the game development studio Intelligent Systems , the Fire Emblem series contains numerous references to people, places and artifacts from numerous western mythologies, with Norse Mythology , Celtic Mythology , and Arthurian Mythology being the most prominent contributors. Because the Fire Emblem series has become divided into multiple Continuities over the years, this list is divided up by the mythological source, followed by the individual game universe that the reference appeared in.
