Information About

Music City Sf

The Music City SF is a Recording Studio and music rehearsal space in San Francisco, California , United States , which is also the home of the San Francisco Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame .

In the works of the current renovation is a hybrid music café, restaurant and rock incubator with recording studios, 18 band-rehearsal spaces, 38 music studios and a Rock music museum. The improved space and Rock And Roll museum has gathered support from the local press with the San Francisco Independent calling the museum a "Groovy Idea". BeyondChron.org described the project as being "A space where musicians can learn about the biz, exchange ideas and experiences, jam, showcase their talents, and create the kind of atmosphere we really need in this town.".

It was started by musician and investor Rudy Colombini , who has been a member of several notable bands including The Divine Comedy (not the British band of the same name), the Stragglers , and the Twist as well as releasing several solo albums. A chance meeting with former Beatles singer John Lennon inspired Rudy to get serious about songwriting. Rudy is also known for owning the Nob Hill Hotel and Fitzgerald Hotel in San Francisco. Rudy Colombini currently plays Mick Jagger in the Unauthorized Rolling Stones , which the San Francisco Bay Guardian voted "Best Bay Area Cover Band".
