The MDC is charged with:
  • attracting international ICT (information-communication technology) businesses to set up shop in the MSC, and providing them technical and administrative assistance in doing so

  • engender relationships between MSC businesses

  • attracting talented ICT professionals to work in the MSC

  • connect new business operations with quality employees (through its KWX subsidiary)

  • manage the digital infrastructure of the MSC area (through its MSCTC subsidiary) and security (through its Trustgate subsidiary, which is also a commercial service)

  • encourage investment in MSC businesses (through its MSCVC subsidiary)

  • advise the government on the development of technology-related laws

  • maintain the MSC's commercial and residential services
