According to {Link without Title} , the name of the mountain derives from an Ewe word ''Avadzeto'' meaning "at war with bush." The name derives from the fact that a plant causing severe skin irritation is present on the slopes of the mountain so the farmers and hunters who used to climb the mountain were "at war" with the plants. The nearby Tagbo Falls are also considered a tourist attraction. |
