The length of the Metro 2 is rumored to exceed even that of the main Metro, and is thought to have 4 lines and lie seven levels deep. It is said to connect the Kremlin with the FSB headquarters, the government airport at Vnukovo-2 as well as an underground town at Ramenki as well as other locations of national importance. In 1994 an exploration group, the "Diggers of the Underground Planet", apparently stumbled on an entrance to this underground system. EXTERNAL LINKS
