Moscow-City is a large Downtown complex in Moscow . All kinds of future Business , cultural, and civil centre – underground communications, Transportation , energy supplies, Hotel s, public and recreational areas will be taken into account in a unique and modern centre for business and finance. In the early 1990s the Government of Moscow made a decision to create a business district uniting business facilities, hotel complexes for representatives of Russian and foreign business, and entertainment enterprises. The Project was named "Moscow International Business Center" (MIBC) or Moscow-City and became the greatest investment of building projects in Russia and indeed Europe . Forming a new architectural face of Russia and the creation of an investment climate and forming a large tax base and new work places in Moscow with the introduction of ecologically friendly transportation systems and energy technologies, this will be the socio-economic hallmarks of Moscow-City. The transformation of Moscow into a world Business Center depends on successful development of Moscow-City (MIBC). To achieve this, Moscow's goal is to achieve capital investments, setting up relationships with representatives of world industrial-financial elites, and creating a new International Business activity zone. While building this district, many old plants that were harmful to the environment have been destroyed or taken outside the city limits, and more than 40 hectares of useful land has been cleared and created.
