GEOGRAPHY


Montezuma is located at 40°29'20" North, 84°32'55" West (40.488768, -84.548582).

According to the United States Census Bureau , the village has a total area of 0.3 Km&2 (0.1 Mi&2 ). 0.3 km&2 (0.1 mi&2) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.


DEMOGRAPHICS

As of the Census of 2000, there were 191 people, 71 households, and 48 families residing in the village. The Population Density was 614.5/km&2 (1,660.7/mi&2). There were 80 housing units at an average density of 257.4/km&2 (695.6/mi&2). The racial makeup of the village was 98.43% White , 0.00% African American , 0.00% Native American , 0.00% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.00% from Other Races , and 1.57% from two or more races. 1.57% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 71 households out of which 35.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.9% were Married Couples living together, 9.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.0% were non-families. 23.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.69 and the average family size was 3.12.
