Information About

Mixed Company (stanford University)

Mixed Company is Stanford University 's oldest co-ed A Cappella group. Founded in 1985, their repertoire consists largely of popular music from the 1980s to the present, and the vast majority of songs are arranged by group members past and present. They are well known on campus for their scandalous annual show entitled "Love Sucks." Attractively attired in black, white, and an oh-so-subtle splash of red, they wander the campus - and sometimes the country - spreading their pop/alternative sound and spunky style.

MUSIC

Mixed Company has made 10 albums to date, along with several showings on Best of College A Capella (BOCA) albums and several awards from CASA (The Contemporary A Cappella Society).
