It lies just on the outskirts of Dumbarton , on the main road to Glasgow . It has a primary school and an animal home. It also includes Dumbuck Quarry, which has removed a large part of Dumbuck hill. Its main claim to fame is that it was the home of Jackie Stewart , the racing driver. His family ran the Dumbuck Garage in the village. Historically its full name was Milton of Colquhoun , but this name never appears in ordinary usage nowadays. |
