Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge

Despite its lack of popularity because it required the Super Scope to play, some players consider this game as the best which uses this accessory, and also one of the best Super NES games overall.

The player once again takes the role of the gunner of the Standing Tank (ST) Falcon (piloted by Mike Anderson) and again fights the ST Thanatos (piloted by Anubis) in order to prevent another era of chaos in the world. This game also features the ST Tornado with another pilot, a slighty different storyline, and a different system of attacking. There are also some old enemies from Battle Clash as well as new enemies.

The allied STs are:
  • Falcon (piloted by Mike, the main character)

  • Tornado (piloted by Carol Eugene, the second main character. Her ST is the other one available to choose, when the game is finished at least once)

  • Spika (piloted by Rola. It is not a playable ST, but a plot element. In case of the Falcon, it helps occasionally with items or health)

The enemy STs are:
  • Garam mk2 (piloted by Guido. This is an enhanced version of the old Garam in Battle Clash)

  • Siamang (piloted by Chada)

  • Wong (piloted by Dayan)

  • Griffin (piloted by Orusoh)

  • Viscount (piloted by Carlos. This one is similar to Battle Clash's Baron, but instead of a gun it uses a bazooka)

  • Thanatos (piloted by Anubis, who actually is a clone. His ST is almost the same as it was in Battle Clash)

  • Arachnus (piloted by Danpe)

  • Cobra (piloted by Zephyr)

  • Groken (piloted by Pamela)

  • Virvius (piloted by the real Anubis. His ST is more powerful than the Thanatos, but it still works almost the same as in Battle Clash)

  • Giga-Desp (piloted by Typhon, who is Anubis' leader)

Unlike most of the Japanese-developed games, this game was only released in America and Europe, but not in Japan. The reason for this is because the Super Scope was less popular there (almost a novelty item).
