Mead School District

SCHOOLS

The two main high schools, Mead High School and Mt. Spokane High School are both successful in music and sports in both state and national competitions. The students of each High School consider the schools rivals. Students can also attend M.E.A.D Alternative High School .

The district's two middle schools include Northwood Middle School and Mead Middle School

Seven elementary schools exist within the district. Brentwood Elementary , Colbert Elemenatary , Evergreen Elementary , Farwell Elementary , Meadow Ridge Elementary , Midway Elementary , and Shiloh Hills Elementary

RECENT HISTORY

On March 22, 2006, Dr. Thomas Rockefeller was named as the new Superintendent by the Board of Directors. He will take office on July 1st, 2006.
