Maryland State Highway 10, also known as the '''Arundel Expressway''' or '''Route 10''' is a State Highway in Anne Arundel County, Maryland . Despite its name, the Arundel Expressway is actually a Freeway , however, in Maryland the words "expressway" and "freeway" are generally interchangeable, with "expressway" being the more commonly used term. The highway runs from the Baltimore Beltway , to an intersection with Ritchie Highway in Pasadena and serves mostly to bypass Ritchie Highway through Glen Burnie .
