Marshall's first film appearances were in the 20th Century Fox films ''Gentleman's Agreement'' and ''Daisy Kenyon'' in 1947 (although both appearances were uncredited). She went on to play roles (many minor) in over 25 more films until 1967 . She married three times, her first husband being the actor Allen Davey . Her second husband (from 1952 until 1959 ) was Stanley Donen with whom she had three children ( Peter , Joshua and Mark Donen ) In 1963 she married the actor Robert Wagner , with whom she had one child (the television presenter Katie Wagner ) before they divorced in 1970 .
