Dr. Maria C. Tan is a research physician who specializes in the area of pediatric infectious disease. Born in the Philippines, she studied at University of Santo Tomas in Manila receiving her Doctor of Medicine. Subsequently, she completed her internship at Santo Tomas University Hospital and the Makati Medical Center in the Philippines, her residency at Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York City and fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. As well, she is board certified in the area of pediatrics and holds current licensure to practice medicine in the United States.
