The song was written by Jimmy Destri , who has also penned some of their earlier hits, like " Atomic ". To this date this is the last single to reach number 1 from the band. The single was released as a 2 C.D set, the first containing remixes of "Maria", and the second contained album track " Screaming Skin " and a live version of " In The Flesh ". The song reached number 1 in February 1999 . The line "Walking like a Millionaire/walking on imported air" was also used in Blondie's 1980 song "Walk Like Me" on the '' Autoamerican '' album. |
