Mantrakid grew up listening to cassette mixtapes of video game soundtracks and sesame street propaganda. This progression later built into dabbling with music production on the electronic side of things until his destiny brought him to meet hip hop emcees and producers who later joined forces to become the one and only Audible Intelligence collective. After releasing his 2003 album called 'Neutralmonism', Mantrakid obsessed over many side projects while working on his next full length album, 'Remembering Kansas' released in January of 2006.
