This is now Labour's safest seat in Manchester, with such areas as Blackley itself, and the deprived Inner-City Harpurhey heavily voting in their favour.

Boundary Review

Following their review of parliamentary representation in Greater Manchester , the Boundary Commission For England have made modifications to the existing Blackley seat as a consequence of the loss of one seat in the region.

This seat forms one part of a new Blackley And Broughton seat with two electoral wards from Salford
