The Management Engineering Association (MEA) is the home organization of Management Engineering Majors from the John Gokongwei School of Management (JG SOM), of the Ateneo De Manila University , Philippines. With more than 400 members, it is among the most influential organizations in the university, and has spearheaded significant movements in the field of student organizations and extra-curricular activities in campus. The mission and vision of the organization The Management Engineering Association aims to develop competent and socially responsible business leaders of the future. MEA is for MEAns. We provide development and guardianship, complement and enhance MEAns in academics, enrich leadership skills, and assist in the wholistic formation of each member. MEAns bring to life the values of MEA and we strive for the ''Magis'' in the service of the Ateneo community. May we all share in the celebration of MEAnity. Corporate social responsibility MEA is primariliy a business organization. Accordingly, it recognizes its call to social responsibility as a call to doing good business. The Management Engineering Association is the pioneer in championing CSR in the student organization setting, and is committed to imbedding CSR principles and values into each of its projects and departments. MEA also seeks to contribute to the theory and frameworks of the young field that is CSR. However, because MEA is a ''student'', business organization, its nature is primarily formative, rather than profit-seeking. Therefore, its main stakeholders are its members. Its core competency is member care and formation. Its CSR committment is its vision, forming competent and socially responsible business leaders of the future.
