Her work has been featured in many exhibitions, particularly in California and New York . O'Grady is known for using a Persona during many of her performances, known as 'Mlle. Bourgeoise Noire', and has been known to invade art openings in that persona, swinging a Whip and shouting out Poems that rail against an Art world she perceives as not looking beyond a small circle of friends.
