ANAMOLIES Although all cartoons on The Looney Tunes Golden Collection: Volume 2 are presented uncut, it has been reported on several websites dedicated to classic animation that a handful of cartoons in this DVD set have had a process called digital video Noise Reduction (or DVNR) applied to them, which unintentionally erases or blurs some of the scenes in the cartoons. This process has upset many fans, which has led to the decrease of DVNR in subsequent Looney Tunes DVD's. Cartoons in the collection that have been afflicted with DVNR are Bob Clampett's ''The Big Snooze'', Frank Tashlin's ''Have You Got Any Castles'', and Robert McKimson's ''Gorilla My Dreams''. Also reported on classic animation websites is the use of Interlacing on a handful of cartoons on the collection, which distorts the picture of the cartoons when viewed on a High Definition Televison or a Computer Monitor . Although the interlacing of the cartoons has not been as controversial among Looney Tunes fans as DVNR, many have nonetheless raised concern over the process and have insisted that Warner Home Video encode the cartoons onto DVD using Progressive Scan only. The Cartoons affected with interlacing are Bob Clampett's ''A Corny Concerto'' and ''Book Revue'', Tex Avery's ''I Love to Singa'' and ''Hollywood Steps Out'', and Frank Tashlin's ''Have You Got Any Castles''.
