The plot revolved around Charlie Briscoe ( Leah Remini of '' The King Of Queens '') as a friend of Samantha Micelli's. Charlie was befriended by Trish Carlin ( Michael Learned from '' The Waltons ''), the owner of a modeling agency for teenaged girls. ''Living Dolls'' was almost universally derided by critics, and it was the only series to earn an "F" by ''People'' magazine in their 1989 fall preview issue. Only 13 episodes were aired.
