linda christas educational theory Linda christas educational theory was first introduced to the international community in 1994. Linda christas educational theory blends the most effective elements of Bernard, Glasser and Steiner innovation with those advocated by Gatto, and to a limited extent, Dent and Zuboff, adding emphasis in ways that advantage the student's skills, interests, aptitudes, maturity level, and dominant learning style. Currently, practitioners of linda christas educational theory can be found in the United States, Poland, Mainland China, England and the Philippines. In multiple field studies, linda christas educational theory has demonstrated promise in remedying much of the disengagement displayed in secondary and middle school classrooms throughout the world. Linda christas educational theory, however, has proven relatively incompatible with rigid top-down organizational structures in which attempts are made to standardize educational offerings irrespective of the needs and requirements of the individual learner. Linda christas educational theory emphasizes teacher competence and control while using the elements of student personality, maturity level, life situation, and preferences to discover in each individual a method for nourishing the spirit of curiosity, problem solving and invention common to all people.
