Lewis Arquette





FAMILY


Arquette was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late comic actor Cliff Arquette , best remembered for his "Charley Weaver" character, a fixture on the original '' Hollywood Squares ''.

He is the father of actors Rosanna , Patricia , Alexis , David and Richmond Arquette . He is the father-in-law of actress Courteney Cox and actor Thomas Jane and the former father-in-law of actor Nicolas Cage .

Arquette frequently appeared in movies with his sons. Arquette is of partially- French descent.

In 1963 , Arquette moved his family to Chicago, where he managed The Second City theater for several years. In 1970 the family moved to a Commune in Front Royal, Virginia .

His wife, Brenda "Mardi" Nowak, was a Psychiatrist who died in 1997 due to Breast Cancer . Mardi was Jewish and the daughter of a Holocaust survivor from Poland . Arquette was a Christian convert to Islam . The family celebrated holidays associated with both religions.
