Levantine cuisine is the traditional Cuisine of the Levant region. Though now divided into Turkey , Syria , Lebanon , Jordan , the West Bank , Israel and the Gaza Strip , the region was a more united entity before the fall of the Ottoman Empire , and shared most of the same culinary traditions.
