Left Behind: the TV Series was a project planned by Cloud Ten Pictures , for airing on the PAX Television network in the United States. While NBC (PAX's parent Company at the time) wanted to tell the story as it was written in the Left Behind books, Cloud Ten Pictures wanted to make the TV series a '' The West Wing '' type series, set in the Left Behind universe. Because The West Wing was so popular at the time, NBC rejected Cloud Ten's idea, and the TV Series idea was eventually abandoned. |
