Ledenika (Леденика) is a cave in the northwestern parts of Stara Planina , 16 Km from the Bulgaria n town of Vratsa , the entrance being at 830 m above sea level. Ledenika features an abundance of Karst formations— Stalactite s and Stalagmite s—and is one of the best known caves in Bulgaria. The temperature varies from -7 to -15°C, 8°C in the interior and the air humidity is 92%. |
