Le Bas-Richelieu ''(The Lower Richelieu)'' is a Regional County Municipality in southwestern Quebec , Canada . Its seat is in Sorel-Tracy . It is named for its position on the Richelieu River , down stream from La Vallée-du-Richelieu Regional County Municipality . It is located at the confluence of the Richelieu and Saint Lawrence River in the Montérégie region of Quebec. |
