A contemporary of Mehmed II , Vlad III and Stephen The Great , he is chiefly notable for his work ''Historical Expressions'' that analysed the military and political situation in the conflict between the Ottoman Empire and Wallachia , and the Ottoman Empire and the Byzantine Empire . |
