Langley Vale is a small Village in Epsom And Ewell borough, Surrey , England . It is bordered to its northeast by Epsom Downs , to the south by Headley, Surrey and the west by Ashtead . There is one road through the village, which uses part of the old Roman Road , Stane Street . The Village has no Pub , and very little in the way of shops, a small community centre and Church. There is a single Petrol Station on the main road. Also one School. During the Epsom Downs , Derby race weekend, its gets very busy in the village roads with almost no parking for residents. ASHTEAD OR EPSOM? One Problem the Village has, is its Postal Code which puts it in Epsom Borough, but its Telephone area code puts it in Ashtead . TRANSPORT The village has no British Rail station. The nearest being Tattenham Corner and Epsom Downs Railway Line between 2-5 miles away. |
