The village has a large park, Bents Park, with a children's play area and access to the River Browney . The East Coast Main Line , one of Britain's arterial rail links, goes through the village, providing a welcome diversion from the traffic noise. There are two Pubs in Langley Moor: the Station and the Langley Moor Hotel, in addition to a few independent retailers and a supermarket. Public transport is cheap and plentiful, particularly towards Durham but also in the direction of Crook and the Durham Dales . |
